Ammodor Cigar Tray Kits are available for a variety of popular Pelican cases, military surplus containers and other boxes. Our kits include everything you need to assemble your own first-class portable humidor from your own plastic, hardshell container.
Made of high quality, custom cut open cell charcoal foam that is sturdier than competitive products – but still soft enough to protect your cigars and allow for excellent air flow through the material. Each container was meticulously measured and CAD drawings professionally drafted to ensure an exact fit of every foam part.
Kits include pre-cut trays that fit in the lower section of your container, as well a top lining piece that mounts to the inside of your lid (quantity of trays/lid varies by container and adhesive to attach lid lining is not included).
Our trays are professionally laser cut with numerous large channels that are to perfectly sized to protect your cigars. Lid inserts are waterjet cut with round holes to optionally recess mount a Xikar PuroTemp Digital Hygrometer (or similar style hygrometer) as well as a rectangle to recess mount an optional Boveda Metal Holder for 60 gram Boveda Humidity Packs. I had a Pelican 1200 case that I used for some camera lenses but was no longer using. Rather than throw it away (actually give to Goodwill) I wanted to make use of it. I had seen a few people convert their Pelicans for traveling humidors. Only thing missing were the foam trays. Luckily I found Ammodor and their custom foam trays. They fit like a glove, yet in no way smashed my cigars. I have only tested the trays out but look forward to using my new travel humidor with my new Ammador foam trays. It also comes with foam that fits into the lid. Nice cut out for a hygrometer and for maybe a Boveda pack holder or your own humidifier. You can go without either and just leave it as the lid insert as well.
