This M151 Warhead Ammodor custom cigar humidor is built by re-purposing a vintage mid 1970s wooden crate. This container originally held four M151 high explosive, anti-personnel warheads with M427 nose mounted, point detonating fuses. Very cool pieces of history in great shape – limited quantities available!

The M151 warheads were commonly mounted on 2.75” unguided rockets and fired air-to-ground from most rotary and fixed-wing aircraft including Apaches, Cobras and F-16s. The M151 Warhead is a 10-pound anti-personnel – traditionally referred to as the “10 pounder” – and was designed by the Army in the 1940s. Upon detonation, the M151 warhead explodes into thousands of small, high velocity fragments that can produce a lethality radius in excess of nearly 200 feet!

Converted into an Ammodor at our workshop in Richmond, VA using high quality, solid 1/4″ Spanish Cedar wood lining and 1/4″ Spanish Cedar plywood flooring. 100% made in the USA and and built-to-order by master craftsman and US Army Veteran, Jerry as well as Ammodor’s owner Kevin.

The bottom is lined using olive drab green felt to protect table top surfaces. Features two new safety “no slam” torque hinges and two draw hasp latches or locking clasp to hold the lid securely closed. Add an optional handmade 5.56 AR-15 bullet pull handle on the lid for easy opening. Your choice of humidification, hygrometer, dividers and more. Exterior can be stained a variety of colors. Choice of optional removable top tray and dividers. Pictured below with optional add-ons and accessories.

Measures 21″ long x 8″ wide x 9.5″ tall outside. Inside measure 18″ long x 5.5″ deep x 7″ or 855 cubic inches. Rated to hold 375 cigars (measured with Corona size 5.5″ x 42 cigars with no tray). For optimal organization and to ensure adequate air circulation, we recommend storing approximately 125 cigars inside. Weighs about 15 lbs.

Please note: Ammodors are custom built and made to order. Depending on our current order load, it could take 4-6 weeks or longer us to handcraft your humidor. Please allow additional time for delivery and in some cases, time for materials needed to arrive beforehand as well.

Due to this fact, the outside of the can may have minor scratches, dings or light exterior rust. Exterior markings and stencils will vary. Frankly, we think that’s what makes Ammodors so cool! Ammodors are tough, combat tested and look bad ass! If you’re looking for a “pretty” little cigar humidor, look somewhere else.
