This custom cigar humidor is beautifully handcrafted using an extremely rare Stinger Surface-to-Air missile system container made in 1986! They have been sitting in their original boxes – taped shut and lost in a warehouse ever since. We have just acquired a VERY limited supply of 6 of these cases. They have not seen the light of day for 30 years until we open them to convert them into the most bad ass cigar humidor in the World! You will never find a Stinger case in this condition again and once these are built – they are gone forever.

The US government (your tax dollars) spent $2,500 each for these cases back in the 80s. Although that’s not bad when you consider they were protecting a Stinger missile system that cost $44,000!

The Stinger Ammodor is 100% American made by hand and built-to-order by our master craftsman and military Veteran, Jerry at our Ammodors workshop in Richmond, VA. It is made with solid 1/4″ Spanish Cedar wall and lid lining and 1/4″ Spanish Cedar plywood flooring. Measures around 66″ x 13″ x 13″ and nearly 100lbs. Rated to hold almost 2750 cigars and boxes (measured using Corona size 5.5″ x 42 ring gauge with no trays) with 6200 cubic inches of volume. For optimal organization and to ensure adequate air circulation, we recommend storing approximately 900 cigars inside.

Features like new OD Green patina and original military stencils. Heavy duty handles on each end and a rubber gasket ring and heavy-duty closure latches – 100% air tight and waterproof. Cleaned and sanitized prior to use with our proprietary sterilization process.

Your choice of tray and divider configuration, humidification device and hygrometer. We also offer personalization such as custom decals and painted stencils. Can be customized to fit any request. Contact us with any questions before ordering.

Please note: Ammodors are custom built and made to order. Depending on our current order load, it could take 2-4 weeks us to handcraft your humidor. Please allow additional time for delivery and in some cases, time for materials needed to arrive beforehand as well.

Ammodors ammo can humidors are built using surplus ammo cans that have been proudly used by our Armed Forces. Due to this fact, the outside of the can may have minor scratches, dings or light exterior rust. Exterior markings and stencils will vary. Frankly, we think that’s what makes Ammodors so cool! Ammodors are tough, combat tested and look bad ass! If you’re looking for a “pretty” little cigar humidor, look somewhere else.
