Ammodors recommends the use of Xikar humidifiers to perfectly maintain cigars. The Xikar Crystal 50 Humidifier contains a special polymer gel capable of absorbing up to 450 times its weight in fluid. In your Ammodor, the Crystal 50 Humidifier will release and absord just enough moisture to maintain a perfect 70% humidity. It’s a perfect fit for our The 30, The 50 or The 50 WWII Ammodors.
Now featuring the new and improved HumiStore™ models that are prefilled with Xikar PG Solution! Will last for 1-3 months and then the crystals will shrink to about half their original size. At that point you should re-charge them with Xikar PG Solution (other solutions may damage your humidifier). Never let your humidifier go dry!
